To recognize which version of Google Sites youre utilizing just get in sites.google.com into your web browsers address bar then search in the bottom-left corner of the screen. If the bottom-left corner of the screen has a “back to Classic Sites” button then youre utilizing the existing version of Google Sites. Heres a little video presentation of those actions..
