This video could make a great addition to your list of resources for mentor trainees how to be smart media consumers. After seeing the video I d have students do 2 things. First, I d have them browse a few newspapers or journals (online or physical) to try to discover some graphs that utilize among the deceptive techniques taught in the TED-Ed lesson. Second, I d offer students with some datasets to attempt their hands at developing accurate charts along with slightly misleading charts.
