Hands-on Activities for Learning About Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

The History of the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Like millions of other Americans the Macys Thanksgiving Parade will be on the tv in my home this coming Thursday early morning. Just like last year Macys is providing some.
hands-on STEAM lessons connected to the parade..

Parade 101 features 4 video presentations of hands-on activities that trainees can do at house with their parents or in your classroom. The 4 activities consist of inflating balloons through using baking soda and vinegar, creating balloons for the parade, using and making sculping dough, and structure design drifts. All of the videos consist of lists of needed products..
I like all 4 of the activities. If I was to recommend one for Thanksgiving day it would be constructing model floats or creating since they can be made with cardboard, paper, glue, markers, and other common household products that dont make a mess and do not need to be carried out in a cooking area. That stated, I think the most fun one is the pumping up balloons activity..
In addition to the videos and STEAM tasks Parade 101 provides some printable coloring sheets and puzzles. An interactive timeline of the history of the parade is still available to consider as well..
