Hands-on Activities for Learning About Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Parade 101 features four video presentations of hands-on activities that students can do at house with their parents or in your class. The four activities include pumping up balloons through using baking soda and vinegar, developing balloons for the parade, making and utilizing sculping dough, and building model floats. All of the videos include lists of needed products..
I like all four of the activities. If I was to advise one for Thanksgiving day it would be building model floats or creating since they can be finished with cardboard, paper, glue, markers, and other typical home materials that do not make a mess and dont have to be performed in a kitchen. That stated, I think one of the most fun one is the pumping up balloons activity..
In addition to the videos and STEAM tasks Parade 101 uses some coloring puzzles and sheets. An interactive timeline of the history of the parade is still available to consider as well..
