Hands-on Activities for Learning About Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Parade 101 features four video demonstrations of hands-on activities that trainees can do at home with their parents or in your classroom. The four activities consist of inflating balloons through the use of baking soda and vinegar, creating balloons for the parade, making and utilizing sculping dough, and building design drifts. All of the videos include lists of required supplies..
I like all four of the activities. If I was to advise one for Thanksgiving day it would be building model drifts or developing due to the fact that they can be made with cardboard, paper, glue, markers, and other typical family materials that do not make a mess and dont have to be carried out in a kitchen area. That said, I believe one of the most fun one is the pumping up balloons activity..
In addition to the videos and STEAM projects Parade 101 uses some printable coloring puzzles and sheets. An interactive timeline of the history of the parade is still readily available to consider as well..
