Hands-on Activities for Learning About Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Parade 101 features 4 video demonstrations of hands-on activities that trainees can do at home with their parents or in your class. The 4 activities consist of pumping up balloons through the use of baking soda and vinegar, developing balloons for the parade, utilizing and making sculping dough, and structure model drifts. All of the videos consist of lists of required materials..
I like all 4 of the activities. If I was to recommend one for Thanksgiving day it would be constructing model floats or designing because they can be finished with cardboard, paper, glue, markers, and other typical home products that do not make a mess and dont need to be carried out in a cooking area. That said, I believe the a lot of enjoyable one is the pumping up balloons activity..
In addition to the videos and STEAM projects Parade 101 offers some printable coloring puzzles and sheets. An interactive timeline of the history of the parade is still available to view as well..
