Hands-on Activities for Learning About Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Like countless other Americans the Macys Thanksgiving Parade will be on the television in my home this coming Thursday morning. Much like last year Macys is offering some.
hands-on STEAM lessons related to the parade..

Parade 101 features four video demonstrations of hands-on activities that students can do at home with their parents or in your class. The 4 activities consist of pumping up balloons through the usage of baking soda and vinegar, creating balloons for the parade, making and using sculping dough, and building model drifts. All of the videos consist of lists of required products..
I like all 4 of the activities. If I was to suggest one for Thanksgiving day it would be building design drifts or developing because they can be finished with cardboard, paper, glue, markers, and other typical family products that dont make a mess and do not need to be performed in a kitchen. That stated, I think one of the most enjoyable one is the pumping up balloons activity..
In addition to the videos and STEAM jobs Parade 101 uses some coloring puzzles and sheets. An interactive timeline of the history of the parade is still offered to see as well..
