Five Tools for Staying On Task

Performance Tools Im Currently Using.
StayFocusd is a Chrome extension that Ive used for years whenever I feel like Im falling under the bad habit of going after rabbit holes on the internet. StayFocusd lets me define the sites that I desire to obstruct from myself or limit my time invested seeing them. After specifying the websites and the amount of time Ill enable myself on them, a countdown timer appears whenever I see those sites. The timer resets every 24 hours..
Pomofocus is a task timer that is based on the Pomodoro technique of getting things done. On Pomofocus I create a list of tasks then start the timer.

Other Productivity Tools.
When you open a new tab for the very first time Dayboard will appear and ask you to enter your to-do list for the day. After producing your to-do list for the rest of the day whenever you open a brand-new tab you will see your list.
FlashTabs is a free Chrome extension that will show flashcards whenever you open a new Chrome tab. The important things that I like about FlashTabs is that it is simple to produce your own flashcards to have shown in your new tabs.
You can color code notes, make lists, and share notes. Google Keep suggestions can be set to pop-up on your desktop or mobile gadget.

Practical Ed Tech. On Pomofocus I produce a list of jobs then begin the timer. When you open a brand-new tab for the first time Dayboard will appear and ask you to enter your to-do list for the day. After creating your to-do list for the rest of the day whenever you open a new tab you will see your list. You can color code notes, make lists, and share notes.
