There are some companies working on making alternatives to Googles Tour Creator. The process of creating a VR tour in Expeditions Pro is extremely similar to that of Tour Creator. Expeditions Pro supports the usage of zip files that are produced when you use Google Takeout to download your Tour Creator files. I d recommend doing that prior to Google shutters Tour Creator at the end of the month.

Im hoping that Expeditions Pro is readily available to the general public in time for the next school year because Im thrilled to see what students and teachers will make with it.

Explorations Pro is still in beta but I got to try it out previously today. My initial impression of it is that it will be an outstanding replacement for Tour Creator once all of the quirks are worked out..

Applications for Education.
Once Expeditions Pro leaves beta and appears to the public, I believe that it will be a great alternative to Googles Tour Creator. Trainees will have the ability to use it to develop their virtual reality trips about local history, about books, about geography, about geology, and many other intriguing subjects.
