Expeditions Pro – A Replacement for Google’s VR Tour Creator

Expeditions Pro is still in beta but I got to attempt it out previously today. My initial impression of it is that it will be an excellent replacement for Tour Creator when all of the quirks are exercised..
When I first signed into my beta Expeditions Pro account I was struck by the resemblance to Tour Creators interface. The process of producing a VR trip in Expeditions Pro is really comparable to that of Tour Creator. You just select a cover image, title your tour, then begin to add scenes. Adding scenes is just like including slides to a slideshow except that rather of including standard images you publish 180 or 360 degree scenic images..
When you use Google Takeout to download your Tour Creator files, expeditions Pro supports the use of zip files that are produced. I d advise doing that before Google shutters Tour Creator at the end of the month. (Heres a video about how to utilize Google Takeout)..

Once Expeditions Pro leaves beta and appears to the general public, I believe that it will be an excellent alternative to Googles Tour Creator. Students will have the ability to utilize it to develop their virtual reality tours about regional history, about books, about geography, about geology, and many other fascinating subjects.

Im hoping that Expeditions Pro is readily available to the general public in time for the next academic year due to the fact that Im delighted to see what students and teachers will make with it.
