Im hoping that Expeditions Pro is available to the general public in time for the next school year because Im excited to see what instructors and trainees will make with it.

Explorations Pro is still in beta but I got to attempt it out earlier today. My initial impression of it is that it will be an excellent replacement for Tour Creator when all of the quirks are worked out..
When I initially signed into my beta Expeditions Pro account I was struck by the similarity to Tour Creators user interface. The process of producing a VR tour in Expeditions Pro is very comparable to that of Tour Creator.
When you use Google Takeout to download your Tour Creator files, expeditions Pro supports the use of zip files that are produced. In fact, I d recommend doing that prior to Google shutters Tour Creator at the end of the month. (Heres a video about how to use Google Takeout)..
Applications for Education.
When Expeditions Pro leaves beta and ends up being available to the general public, I believe that it will be a terrific alternative to Googles Tour Creator. Students will be able to utilize it to produce their virtual truth tours about regional history, about books, about geography, about geology, and many other interesting topics.
