Anyhow, this weekend were putting on our hats and sweatshirts and going to see a soccer video game. Well also be spending some time playing in leaf piles as there are now enough leaves on the ground to make some stacks. I hope that you also have something fun prepared for your weekend..

Great early morning from Maine where it definitely feels like Fall. Today I needed to break out my stash of winter season hats (my Canadian good friends would call them toques). Its cheaper to put on a hat and sweater than it is to switch on the heating system. Prior to I had kids I always attempted to make it to November prior to turning on the heat. That produced some cold nights come mid-October. Now that I have youngsters making it to October without turning on the heat is a win..
