my weekly newsletter emailed me to request recommendations on how to show a document and countdown timer on the exact same screen. The concept being that the file is displayed on a large screen through an LCD projector or Chromecast and a little timer is likewise shown. The file could be displaying questions for students to respond to or procedural steps for them to follow in an alotted amount of time..

I offered a simple suggestion for displaying the file and a timer on the exact same screen. My suggestion was to simply resize two internet browser tabs so that the full file and a small timer are shown on the exact same screen area. This short video shows how to do that..
