Under the second format, which will take just 45 days to end up, the CBSE has proposed that Class 12 students sit for the major subject exams in their own schools (check out self-centres), instead of designated centres. Apart from the reduced period of the evaluation, a Class 12 student will appear for one language and 3 optional (read major) topics just.

Under the very first alternative, the national board has suggested that examinations for 19 major topics be held in the “existing format” and at designated assessment centres– and marks for minor topics be computed on efficiency in the significant topics.
