CASEL Shares Timely Resources To Support Students Transitioning to Second Semester, Processing January 6 Violent Attack
As schools throughout the country enter the 2nd half of the school year, numerous students will make brand-new transitions– from range learning back to in-person knowing, or vice versa– and psychological and social knowing (SEL) remains as essential as ever. In July 2020, CASEL worked together with more than 40 partners to brighten a method forward as educators nationwide prepared to invite trainees and grownups back to school– in whatever type that took. The SEL Roadmap fixated relationships and built on the existing strengths of a school community.
As second semester begins, now is the time to refocus on supportive relationships, equitable environments, and the academic, social, and emotional development and overall wellness of all trainees and adults.
