Chromes examine tool provides a great way for trainees to see how the code of a webpage works. I typically had my ninth grade coding trainees do that last year.

You can also utilize the check tool to change an article on the internet to make it a satire story. Print the page and provide it to your students to try to recognize the satire aspects of the story.

The inspect tool in Chrome lets you see the code behind any websites and modification that code to show anything that you desire in place of the original text and images. See this brief video to see how it works.
