One of the worms my daughters found today was selected up by my five years of age who put it in bucket. Her more youthful sibling then called the worm Suzy. Now for the last couple of days theyve been adding dirt, water, and lawn into the pail to take care of Suzy every early morning and afternoon..
Suzy has actually been the inspiration for a lot of questions about worms this week. Ive had to try to describe responses to the following:.

What do worms consume?
Do worms have children?
Do worms hibernate?

Earlier this week we had some reasonably warm days and were able to do a little spring yard work. My children like to try to assist with a few of it. Like the majority of four and five year old kids, they quickly get sidetracked. Such held true when they discovered some worms under some leaves in our lawn..
