It’s Patriots’ Day! Resources for Learning About the Start of the American Revolution

Its a day to mark the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first fights of the American Revolutionary War. Developing Google Earth tours of Revolutionary War fight websites is an activity that I did for lots of years with my U.S. History students. Trainees would create multimedia placemarks for each battle in sequence.

Refresher course has a substantial series on U.S. History. Consisted of in that series is Taxes & & Smuggling – Prelude to Revolution.

Photos of the Revolutionary War is a compilation of images about the Revolutionary War. The images in the collection chronicle the stirrings of disobedience in the pre-revolution years, the war from both American and British point of views, and events following the Revolutionary War.
