VHS Learning Supports Students’ College and Career Readiness via Expanded Catalog and New “Exploring College & Careers” Infographic

Boston– April 14, 2022– Giving trainees the opportunity to explore subjects beyond those in a standard core high school curriculum is a vital step in readying them for college and professions. Students taking online high school courses through VHS Learning will begin the 2022-2023 academic year with many unique for-credit options, from Python Programming to Law, thanks to the not-for-profits recently broadened course catalog. These new courses contribute to the more than 300 courses currently readily available.

VHS Learnings brand-new courses for the 2022-2023 academic year include the following:

The brand-new Studio Art course introduces trainees to the fundamental aspects of visual art while establishing the 4C skills of imagination, communication, important thinking, and cooperation. Trainees will examine artwork, explore creative methods, take part in collaborative art tasks, supply constructive feedback to peers, and review their products and procedures. No previous art experience is needed.

As part of its continuous objective to make computer technology education more readily available to students, VHS Learning has produced its new Python Programming course. In this course, students will find out the basics of this effective and flexible shows language.

For example, Business Law serves as a structure for a first level college service law class. The course integrates case research studies and mock trials to more students understanding of how organization law functions in the United States. Students will be needed to investigate existing subjects such as “e law” and area law in addition to interview a lawyer or paralegal.

AP ® Chinese Language and Culture runs 33 weeks, while the other new courses are semester-length and run for 15 weeks. These new courses allow trainees to find disciplines that may not otherwise be readily available to them at a high school level.
