What’s Onomatopoeia Mean? – Another Question from My Daughters

Every night my children (ages 4 and 5) ask us all kinds of fascinating questions. Some of them are about things that I havent believed about in a long time. Some of them arent simple to answer in a method that they can understand.

On an associated note, Next Vista for Learning hosts a terrific video description of onomatopoeia. The video was produced by a high school trainee for among Next Vistas numerous trainee video development contests.

After dinner and my somewhat not successful description of onomatopoeia, I turned to YouTube to search for a video that might help my children much better comprehend what onomatopoeia is. Thats where I found this brief and cute music video about onomatopoeia. Ill warn you, the tune is type of catchy (if youre a five-year-old)..
