If You Care About Copyright, Stop Using Blog Lovin’

As long time followers of my blog and Twitter account understand, copyright is a subject that I am passionate about. Some of them, like the popular Bloglovin service, claim that theyre not doing anything wrong and are in fact assisting bloggers get more direct exposure.

Bloglovin isnt helping blog writers at all. By republishing whole short articles without authorization theyre breaking the original authors copyright. In addition, by republishing entire posts they are getting rid of any incentive to go to the actual source of the short article which negates Bloglovins claim that theyre assisting blog writers get more direct exposure..
Google concurs with me on this as evidenced by the fact that each time I file a DMCA takedown notice with Google they eliminate the upseting Bloglovin URL from their index..
I made a brief, ranting video about this Bloglovin issue. If you like, you can watch it here. In either case, stop using Bloglovin to read article and rather use a service like Feedly which does things ideal or just visit your preferred blog sites directly..
