I’m Feeling Lucky – A Google Earth Lesson

By itself the “Im Feeling Lucky” button supplies a great method for trainees to find brand-new locations. That said, trainees learn more through the “Im Feeling Lucky” button if you give them a little bit more instructions than just “click the button and take a look around.” Thats why I developed a little concern sheet to prompt students to do a little research about the locations they find in Google Earth by means of “Im Feeling Lucky.” My question sheet can be discovered here as a Google Doc..
This short video shows how trainees can explore Google Earth in more information after clicking “Im Feeling Lucky.”.

From voyages to video games to easy measuring tools, the web version of
Google Earth has a great deal of cool functions that can help trainees find out about the world. One of those cool functions is the “Im Feeling Lucky” button that is found on the left hand toolbar in Google Earth. Clicking that button will take trainees to a randomly-selected place on the planet..
