Fifteen Exit Ticket Questions for Almost Any Classroom

Whether an exit ticket is carried out with digital tools or on scraps of paper (a strategy I deserted years ago due to the fact that I always appeared to lost a paper or two), strategy is the exact same. I try to ask concerns that arent “yes/ no” but can still be answered by all trainees in just a minute or more. To that end, heres a list of general purpose exit ticket questions that I developed and have used at numerous times in my profession.

1. Whats a new-to-you word or term you heard today?

2. Whats something you d alter about todays lesson?
3. How did todays lesson make you feel?

4. If we had a test next week, how well do you believe you d do?

5. How would you explain todays lesson to a classmate who was missing?
6. What was your favorite part of todays lesson?
7. What stunned you about todays class?

8. Whats something you wish was various in class?

9. Whats one question you d place on a test about todays lesson?

10. How would you help a classmate who didnt comprehend todays lesson?

11. Whats something you d like to find out more about?

12. What was the simplest part of todays class?
