500 digital learning activities for the in-person or virtual classroom

In an effort to continue its assistance of teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Discovery Education– an edtech partner providing a digital platform created to support learning anywhere it happens– announced today that it will provide approximately 500 everyday class activities available to teachers across the country at no cost throughout the academic year. Available up until June of 2022, the free activities are created to be quickly incorporated into direction no matter where it is occurring.

” Through my own experience in public education, I know that mentor is a requiring job under the finest of situations. However, COVID-19 has brought extra challenges to the occupation,” said Lance Rougeux, Discovery Educations Vice President of Instructional Design. “So, to save teachers time, relieve their concern a bit, and provide some enjoyable, instructional inspiration, Discovery Education is happy to share these daily learning activities with every K-8 instructor in the U.S. for the entire 2021-2022 school year.”.

When schools quickly shifted to online learning in March of 2020, a flurry of statements about complimentary digital knowing resources followed. Gradually, schools returned to hybrid knowing and, now, most districts are back to full in-person learning. A new move puts 500 day-to-day resources into instructors hands for totally free, no matter where students are learning.
