The report originates from NWEA and Education Reform Now ( ERN), which worked together with companies representing state departments of education, school districts, policy and advocacy groups, and universities, to identify suggestions and possible policy options that re-envision assessments and accountability procedures this spring– and– beyond to better advance trainee success.

” Given all the changes in the last year, from remote learning to returning to the class, there has actually never ever been a more vital time to ensure that evaluation and responsibility systems are doing what they are expected to– drive favorable student outcomes and school improvements. The time is now to reevaluate the system and consist of a more extensive view of student success.”
